Turmeric and Zedoary Direct From Yakushima Farmers

Turmeric and zedoary grown exclusively on UNESCO World Natural Heritage Yakushima Island. All of our crops are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers. Rhizomes are washed and steam-sterilized with pure water from our private well. We believe that healthy crops grown in a natural setting have special powers to heal and invigorate. The Yakushima sun, water, air, soil and myriad microorganisms have come together to build a natural enviroment full of blessings. It is with pride and great pleasure that we offer the produce of this island to you.
